Map Server Applications - Appalachian Laboratory

    The Appalachian Laboratory Image Browser
  1. Image Browser Application
The browser opens up with a map of the United States. The blue rectangles are Landsat image footprints. Click the zoom in radio button and then click inside the map to move in closer. The zoom out and pan tools work the same way with a single click inside the map. The green and red footprints are Ikonos and Hyperion data (respectively). If you want to see what images are in an area change to Query Image Features and click inside one of the image footprints which should return a list of images showing dates, image source, and row and path information (for Landsat data). If you select images using the checkboxes and fill out the e-mail control with your correct e-mail address we can get these images for you on CD or DVD or put them someplace on the network where you can access them.
